      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct chart reviews and ICD-10 diagnosis coding for risk adjustment eligible members
      - Identify accurate ICD-10 diagnosis codes through medical record review
      - Perform chart retrieval activities and participate in occasional diagnosis code projects
      - Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements while handling patient health information
      - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide excellent customer service

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
      - CCS/CCS-P or CPC/CPC-A certification required; CCA or RN/LPN licensure must lead to certification within one year of employment
      - Minimum one year of experience in an HMO, Managed Care Organization, or health care setting required
      - Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical chart review required
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) credential preferred
      - Knowledge of chronic conditions preferred
      - Experience with clinical documentation improvement preferred
      - Experience in claims adjudication, billing, and enrollment systems preferred
      - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
