Recommend, improve, and maintain operational risks and controls (including quarterly Risk Control Self-Assessment) for the entire financial risk areas (credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, etc.) including model risk of ERM.
Develop the governance requirements on non-model methods and implement the oversight and governance of the methods across the company.
Assist the team lead in supporting Financial Risk processes to assess risk, design and implement appropriate controls, coordinate remediation efforts, investigate operational events, and report risk assessment results
Support maintenance of Process, Risk and Controls inventory for Financial Risk processes
Help the team lead in execution of quarterly Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) across Financial Risk departments and consolidation of Financial Risk RCSA quarterly results for senior management
Aid Financial Risk team leads in Internal Audit/FHFA examination preparations
Support Financial Risk Independent Risk Assessment Reviews
Provide support responding to ORSS and/or Compliance requests on ERM oversight related activities
Handle and support projects and ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
5 -7 + years of experience in operational risk/process management and/or audit experience.
Confirmed understanding and experience in audit and/or operational risk management, covering the full lifecycle of activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting, including relevant GRC tools.
Familiarity with COSO internal control framework and risk management industry best practices
Relevant professional certifications (CPA, CIA, etc.) a plus
Self-motivated, pro-active, and dedicated problem solver with the capability of balancing multiple priorities without heavy supervision
Ability to take ownership and collaborate with diverse group of partners
Ability to adapt to change while continuing to deliver on assigned task
Ability to communicate concisely and efficiently

Position Overview:
The Enterprise Models and Methods Operations and Governance team within Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) division has an opening for a Risk Governance and Reporting Senior. This dynamic and highly collaborative team operates the integrated Financial Risk and Control Function for the ERM financial risk areas. The team also implements and performs oversight of the models and methods risk governance across the company and in line with Federal Housing Finance Agency (“FHFA”) expectations.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $112,000 - $168,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.About the company
