      Risk Analyst

      This is a part-time, seasonal position.

      Position Summary

      The Risk Intern will assistance with trade platform review, concentrating on Oak review. Other ISV trade platforms will also be in focus.

      We have a strong team that works well together. If you enjoy the fast paced environment of financial services and have a passion for continuous improvement and customer service, this is the place for you. Our paid Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration during the summer.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Review Preparation

      1. Input and organize data taken from OAK user information spreadsheet into OAK review program. Both files can be found under: M:\Platform Review\OAK Platform Review

      1. Run the OAK review program and copy results into the Platform Review Template found under: M:\Platform Review\OAK Platform Review

      1. Make changes per below guidelines. Save reviews into M:\Platform Review\OAK Platform Review\Reviewed

      • Review Guidelines

      1. Rows highlighted in green are either recommendations to delete usernames or just permissions. This requires research whether the user / account exists and is trading or not. Are there duplicate usernames, or unnecessary excess permissions?

      1. Run the OAK Order quantity limits should be in place for all permissions, a default of 99 / 99 (outright and spread) is set for any permission without a quantity limit (shown as MARG). These changes are to be highlighted in orange.

      1. Allowance changes are based on the historical deficiency of the office / account. Permissions that have allowances much greater than their average deficiencies are to be noted and highlighted in orange.

      • Broker Review

      1. Input Email brokers reviews of their office.

      1. Follow up within two weeks regarding review and discuss changes.

      • Support Changes

      1. Copy and paste changes from confirmed OAK review to Support change template, found under: M:\Platform Review\OAK Platform Review\Support Changes

      1. Send email to support with changes attached.

      Job Requirements

      • Pursuing a four-year degree in finance, business administration or related field

      • Strong attention to detail

      • Ability to independently solve problems

      • Strong communication (spoken and written skills for coordination, reporting and analysis

      • Listening skills

      • Customer focused

      • Comfortable in working in team environment

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      • Creative problem solving

      • Handles changing priorities, fast-paced environment and tight deadlines with ease and maturity

      • Computer proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word

      • Commitment to integrity, safety, diversity and equality

      • Languages: English native or fluent
