- The RN is ultimately responsible and accountable to the Patient Care Manager and Patient Care Coordinator
- Implement the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner to include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of each patient as evidenced by documentation in Patient Care Record, direct observation by Nurse Manager and patient evaluations of care. .
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Demonstrate technical aptitude for dealing with and troubleshooting multiple pieces of equipment to include but not limited to IV pump, PCA pump, CPM equipment, code cart/defibrillator, heart monitor, suction machine, glucose monitor, manual and automatic blood pressure machine, medication cabinet, patient bed, call light, telephone, computer, printer, scanner, and fax.
- Demonstrates the ability to safely tolerate physically demanding tasks of moving equipment and patients utilizing safety measures for both yourself and/or patient.
- Demonstrate ability to implement the nursing process appropriately, effectively and promptly to include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of each patient as evidenced by documentation in Patient Care Record, direct observation by Patient Care Manager, and patient evaluation of care.
- Demonstrates ability to effectively perform as a team member, cooperate with others, follow directions precisely, demonstrate initiative, set priorities, and function under stress.

- Licensed RN able to practice within the State of MS
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advance Life Support
- Telemetry Nurse Education

Education/Skills:
Graduate of a recognized non-online RN program required.
Work Experience:
One year medical/surgical nursing care preferred, but not required.
