      Job Highlights:

      Department: System First Level Review Status

      Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday Evenings

      Hours: 3pm to 11pm; with holiday rotation

      Shift Differentials: Eligible for a $2.50 evening shift differential

      Qualifications: Must have active RN licensure and 2 years of Acute care experience.

      Remote Eligible States:

      Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

      Job Summary:
      Provides real time status review for patients admitted to hospital.

      Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
      • Reviews electronic medical record and screens clinical information with nationally recognized criteria.
      • Communicates recommended status to physicians (admitting, ED physicians).
      • Identifies and escalates barriers/gaps to leader of department.
      • Participates with other members of team regarding opportunities for improvement in standard work.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.


      EDUCATION
      • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing


      EXPERIENCE
      • Two years' acute care experience


      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
      • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
      • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
      • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
      • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
      • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
      • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
      • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
      • Rare climbing.
