      Robotic Automation Machine and Equipment Project Design Engineer
      • A four year degree in either mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering is required
      • Two or more years of custom equipment machine design experience with SolidWorks from concept to completion is required
      • One plus years of 3D CAD design experience is required
      • Pay is up to $85,000 annually
      • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
      • No remote

      This full time, permanent Custom Machine and Automation Equipment Project Engineer is at an employee-oriented, custom automation engineering design company. The company takes designing custom automation equipment to a new level. The company does a lot of machine building from scratch but is also making standard products that are sold around the world. The engineering group consists of six engineers so an engineer can have a big impact at the company. The company promotes from within.

      The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate include the following:

      • Designing custom equipment machines from concept through completion
      • Creating custom automation and robotic work cell equipment
      • Finding solutions to problems
      • Seeing jobs through to production
      • Working as a team
      • Managing projects within time constraints

      The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

      • A four year degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering
      • Two or more years of custom equipment machine design experience from concept to completion
      • Two or more years of 3D SolidWorks experience
      • An understanding of machine tool, material science, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts
      • An understanding of machine design and power transmission
      • Possess a solid work history
      • Being a US citizen or green card holder
      • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
