Do you want to play a crucial role in developing near real time software solutions within robotics and automation technology on an application level? And are you interested in Artificial Intelligence and Vision?

As our new Robotics Automation Engineer, you will become part of a cross functional R&D team consisting of highly skilled people within vison, mechanical, electrical engineering, data analytics and software developers. We strive for a high competence level.
The position is in Aarhus and you will have stakeholders within the organization, both locally and internationally

Take part in a fascinating journey
You will play a pivotal role in our journey by ensuring a high level of technology readiness and knowledge of robot and automation technology. You will be working on developing real time software and bringing already existing technology to a higher utilization level as well as creating new products and solutions. Moreover, your tasks will include:

• Be part of the R&D team, participate in project development as a software specialist.
• Participate in the entire journey; from product ideation through exploration, validation, and development to the first test installation at a customer.
• Develop near real time software using applied robot and automation systems with the marketplace of logistic systems and airports in mind. Often on an industrial pc level, Linux or windows based. Robot types like 6 axis Fanuc, Schneider, Kuka etc.
• Facilitate configuration and programming of applied robots and motion control.
• Participate in validation of relevant technologies
• Manage and organize large data sets and perform analysis and optimization

Your background:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about AI, vision and real time software and who is eager to put it into play in a robotics and automation technology context. We imagine that you might have:

• An education within computer science, engineering, physics or a related field
• Experience with robotics and automation technology – maybe from a similar or related industry
• Experience with near real time software and solid knowledge of C#. Knowledge of Python could be an advantage
• Interest in robot software and technologies in combination with vision applications
