What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone, providing crisis intervention and emotional support
- Build rapport and engage with clients to assess risk and manage documentation
- Provide necessary resources and information to clients
- Identify safe coping mechanisms and develop safety plans
- Conduct emergency interventions when necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or MA/MS in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in Illinois and hold a valid license (LSW, LPC, LCPC, or LCSW)
- Ability to work in a distraction-free private office space
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in crisis intervention or telephonic counseling
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and documentation practices
