What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Speak with consumers over the phone experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Building rapport and client engagement
- Assessing risk and managing documentation during calls
- Providing available resources and information
- Identifying safe, positive ways of coping and developing safety plans

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, PsyD, or PhD) or M.A. or M.S. in behavioral health with a clinical practice emphasis
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in North Carolina and hold one of the following licenses: LCSW-A, LMFTA, LPCA, LCMHCA, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LCMHC
- Ability to maintain professionalism and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in crisis intervention or telephonic counseling
- Previous work in community mental health centers, counseling centers, or employee assistance programs
