What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Optimize the customer and product mix to maximize profitability
- Develop a pipeline of new customers and product/market opportunities to ensure sustainable growth
- Negotiate and close deals, maintaining regular visits with customers and prospects
- Manage execution of signed contracts, payment terms, and customer satisfaction
- Foster and grow customer intimacy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial sales environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required at hire
- Strong technical abilities and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the USA
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 10 years of experience in a sales position within the aluminum hard alloy extrusions industry or selling to metal manufacturers/distributors
- Familiarity with aluminum extruded products, processes, and manufacturing facilities
- Experience in industrial, automotive, aerospace, defense, firearm, electrical connector, or large press markets
- Preferred location in the East Coast or Midwest region of the U.S.
