      About the role:
      Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Room Service Server to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.

      What you will do:

      • Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality. (25%)

      • Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards. (20%)

      • Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations. (15%)

      • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. (10%) Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals. (10%)

      • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact. (10%)

      • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)

      • Take guest orders in the absence of order taker.

      • Plate and prepare small food items.

      What you bring:

      • Knowledge of MICROS preferred

      • One to two years’ experience working in hotel Room Service preferred

      • TIPS and ServSafe certifications required

      • Work authorization in the United States required

      Schedule and Hours:

      • This position is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work Overnights, weekends, and holidays.
