- Tuesday 08:00 - 12:00, 13:00 - 16:00 (7 Hours)

- Ensure rotas are up to date and accurate.
- Maintain 6 weeks of rota on system.
- Flag staffing shortages or areas of concern to Senior Rota Co-ordinator (in SRC absence Rota Implementation Officer).
- Record staff absences and notify appropriate Managers/Supervisors
- To action any changes to rotas as required by Rota Implementation Officer/Operations Manager.
- To complete organisational tasks
- Work to Standard Operating procedures
- Communicate with outside agencies for planning
- To action e-mails
- To ensure rotas maintain the principle of equity and fairness of workload undertaken across all areas.
- A good standard of general education, including:
- English and Maths at GCSE level or equivalent.
- A demonstrable commitment to professional development
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent experience
- European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent experience
- Experience of dealing with the public/patients
- Experience of working with computer packages
- Administrator experience in an office environment
- Experience of EMIS clinical system
- Experience of working in a GP practice or other primary care environment.
- Experience of telephone call handling

Job summary
We have an opportunity in the Rota team for a Rota Co-Ordinator working part-time (16 hours).You will be part of the Rota team that supports the clinical staff ensuring rotas are up to date and accurate.Full training will be given and you will also need to be computer literate and have good keyboard skills.
You will be supported by your team leader, and can expect a full training package.
We do not operate at weekends and bank holidays, and can offer five weeks annual leave rising up to six weeks and an increasing sickness pay package.
