      Southwestern Energy is looking for a Rotational Landman for 2024. We offer challenging assignments, extensive professional development and opportunities for rapid career growth.

      As a Rotational Landman at Southwestern Energy, you will learn a wide range of practical applications of in-house and field land activities including:

      • Prospect Acquisition
      • Negotiation and preparation of various join venture agreements including joint operating agreements and farmin/farmout agreements
      • Production property acquisitions/divestitures and the administrative necessities of performing land work
      • Time management of multiple projects
      • Experience in the Appalachian Basin, located in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania, or the Haynesville Basin, located in Louisiana
      • Immersion into a multi-discipline team environment featuring collaboration with Geology, Reservoir, Production, Drilling, Completions, and Planning
      • Opportunity to showcase projects that will support the team’s goals and help candidates gain understanding of oil and gas company’s ongoing business and a landman’s impact on the same

      To be considered for this opportunity you are:

      • Currently enrolled, accepted and taking courses from an AAPL accredited program, or are pursuing law degree
      • An expected graduation date of December 2023 or May 2024
      • An exceptional student and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
      • Enthusiastic in your pursuit of learning the fundamentals of land management, as demonstrated through superior coursework, and extracurricular activity or clubs
      • Computer savvy and conquer new information systems with ease
      • An excellent communicator
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
