* Flexible location: QLD / VIC / NSW / ACT Reporting to the RTO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the training and assessment of learners using current and compliant RTO resources ensuring a great learner journey. In this role you will develop, prepare, deliver, assess, and evaluate qualifications to ensure quality training and assessment for learners to ensure they meet RTO compliance requirements (Australian Qualification Training Framework and state registration and funding bodies) and learner completion rate targets. A day in the life of an RTO Trainer and Assessor… * Support learners to complete their course based on their Training Plans and course schedules. * Conduct competency assessments both on and off the job, within field of expertise or in conjunction with a subject matter expert, as outline in the relevant training package. * Develop and deliver courses in accordance with Training Package and industry requirements. * Maintain regular contact with learners and supervisors and monitors progress, ensuring student and employers satisfaction benchmarks are met. * Provide timely reports to RTO Manager on training activities, performance including assessment outcomes. * Consult with RTO Manager regarding learner welfare, attendance, and course progress. * Evaluate the training program, retaining written feedback for review and discussion with the RTO Manager. What you need to be successful in this role… * Current Certificate IV or Higher TAE Training & Assessment (Mandatory). * Experience working with people with disabilities and those who support them. * At least one or more of the below qualifications 1. BSB40520 or BSB50420 Certificate IV or Diploma in Leadership and Management 2. CHC33015 or CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support - Disability 3. CHC52015 or CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services 4. CHC40313 or CHC40321 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention 5. CHC43115 or CHC43121 Certificate IV in Disability Support * Demonstrated experience designing, delivering, and implementing VET training programs aligned to AQTF qualifications. * Demonstrated experience in the facilitation of both group and individual learning. * Demonstrated experience in conducting competency assessments and RPL. * Well-developed computer skills particularly Office 365 (including SharePoint, Teams) and VET compliant database applications.
