Job summary
We are a practice with 6000 patients and pride ourselves on being a small practice who know our patients well.
We are looking for a highly motivated, reliable, and friendly GP to join our small, well-established practice as a Salaried GP for 6-8 sessions, also considered on a job-share. We are willing to wait for the right person
We can support with a Tier 2 Visa if required, subject to approval by the GMC and GP Performers List.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be working 6-8 sessions a week, we are flexible on full or half days.
Routine appointments include face to face and telephone appointments, up to 15 patients per session. The GP would be managing incoming correspondence via docman and also managing their own results. There would also be a duty session depending on the number of sessions you work, which involves triaging accurx messages, urgent calls to our appointments line and contact from other healthcare professionals outside the practice.
Home visits are minimal and done by our ANP and Physician Associates - the average home visit for a 6 session GP is 1 home visit every 1-2 weeks.
We would want you to be involved as part of weekly clinical meetings and a monthly afternoon of Practice Learning Time.
ARRS roles are supervised daily by the partners.

We are a 6000 patient practice, based on one site. We are a highly valued and local patient focused practice.
We are set in a rapidly developing area of South East London. The practice is in Zone 2- a 3 minute walk from Surrey Quays Overground Station, 11 minute walk from Canada Water Jubilee Line station and with a nearby shopping centre. Southwark Park is on the doorstep of the practice!
Our practice is dynamic and evolving - it was single handed for several years before becoming a three partner practice in 2020. The three partners are two GPs and 1 ANP. We are friendly, approachable and supportive.
We have one part-time salaried GPs, two Physician Associates, Pharmacist, Practice Nurse and a Health Care Assistant. We have an excellent Administrative team - Practice Manager, Secretary, Coding & Admin team with dedicated receptionists and an administrative lead.
We have access to Social Prescribers, Physiotherapists, Mental Health Practitioners and Pharmacists as part of our PCN.
We use Emisweb, Docman 10, T-Quest, Accurx and DXS referral forms.
We are always keen to explore and improve in order to offer the best possible care, recently we organised successful mindfulness breathing workshops for patients and staff. We are also part of the the RCGP national virology survey.
