      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Sell the employer's product portfolio within the Boston Proper/Cambridge area
      - Develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers to achieve revenue targets
      - Collaborate with field applications scientists for installations, training, and post-sales support
      - Manage pricing negotiations and quotes for systems and consumables
      - Maintain customer information and sales pipeline in Salesforce.com

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - BS, MS, or PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, or a related science
      - Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the life sciences industry, preferably with capital equipment
      - Ability to work independently from a home-based office
      - Willingness to travel 50% within the assigned territory
      - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
