What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Proactively manage a base of accounts by prioritizing sales and service activities to achieve growth objectives
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in employer groups to promote HMSA's solutions
- Perform complex business analyses to develop proposals that meet customer requirements
- Educate employer groups on industry trends and their impact on cost and utilization
- Maintain accurate records of account activities and provide management with regular reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
- Minimum of four years of successful field-based customer service experience in the mid-large corporate account market
- At least one year of successful sales experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent facilitation and presentation abilities
- Active license with the state of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs or ability to obtain within three months of hire
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Two years of experience at the employer in a sales and/or account management role
- Strong analytical, negotiating, and sales skills
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SalesForce
- Valid driver's license and access to an automobile for business travel
