- Experience managing a $15M+ book of business, while growing and generating new business.
- Make frequent direct sales calls to drive growth, retention and profitability and optimize market penetration.
- Provide an Annual Sales Plan to support business growth objectives and strategic plan.
- Manage established accounts, providing service and contractual support.
- Remains cognizant of all pertinent competitive activities worldwide, including technical developments and market share data.
- Gain competitive product/pricing strategies and information
- Produce effective logistic and time planning of sales activities, travel planning, and prioritizing.
- Produce effective verbal and written communication for activities and sales reports, customer correspondence, etc.
- Forge effective communication and working relationships with Inside Sales Representatives and Inside Sales Supervisor necessary to manage and grow customer base.
- Direct, coordinate and expedite factory resources necessary to meet customer requirements.
- Prepare annual Sales forecasts and supporting departmental fiscal budgets and monitoring same.
- Assist with advertising and sales promotion programs.
- Assist with Aerospace Controls and Enidine participation in trade shows and other industry activities.
- Proactively seek, identify and recommend potential teaming and acquisition targets, in conjunction with the leadership team.
- Organizes and manages sound proposal preparation, pricing establishment and quotation activities.
- Effectively utilize MRP System as well as basic understanding of business software programs (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
- Recommend, investigate and document new product opportunities.
- BS/BA degree (BSME, BSEE or BSAE is helpful)
- 5+ years outside aerospace technical selling experience
- Possess significant initiative and ability to develop, implement, and achieve ambitious stretch goals. Successful candidates
- Should have strategic alliances with several key contacts in the aerospace marketplace.
- Sales Management experience and working directly with Manufacturers Representatives desirable.
- Overnight travel (35%) domestically and internationally as required.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse and global employees, including the ability to motivate, energize, and enhance performance of teammates.
- Polished presentation and communication skills are essential.

Summary:
Will manage marketing & sales activities and assume responsibility for product management, to include product planning and strategies for military customers in North America with primary responsibility and focus in the aircraft market. Individual will work for ITT Aerospace Controls located in Valencia, California

This is not a hybrid or remote position. Candidate is expected to work from the office when they are not traveling.
