Position Summary:

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for selling select educational products and materials into the Pre-K - 12 market.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sales of specific educational products into PreK-12 academic market.
• Drive sales opportunities within the assigned territories and accounts via phone calls and email correspondence.
• Present selected educational solutions over the phone to potential customers for the purpose of securing a sale.
• Work with customers on pricing proposals for each sale.
• Maintains records of all sales interactions with customers and internal departments using a customer relationship management system.
• Communicate with local sales consultants as needed.
• Maintain pipeline of forecasted opportunities.
• 25 hours / week, January - June - 9AM - 2PM Local Time Zone

Pay Rate:

• $25.00/hr. + 1% Commission

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Years of experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in inside sales and cold calling.
• Degree Required: High School.
• Travel Required: None

Physical Requirements:

• Sit for extended periods of time, including at a computer
• Repetitive hand and wrist movements for frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse
