What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect assigned territory, clients, and leads to drive sales
- Assist in regionalizing sales efforts through increased local client visits
- Develop and implement sales plans and business strategies to build new relationships
- Identify new targets to enhance regional and global business volume in freight services
- Maintain current customer relationships to increase revenue and freight volume
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in global sales
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience
- Knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/Logistics company
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in developing strategic relationships within the logistics industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Familiarity with Customer Retention Management systems
- Ability to conduct market research to enhance sales strategies
