Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Provide technical expertise in pre-sales walkthroughs at client sites, assessing workflow and developing custom demonstrations and recommendations to address current and prospective client requirements.
- Actively participate in development of new messaging, "scripting", and talking points for product demos, presentations, value propositions, etc.
- Collaborate across departments using your technical knowledge to influence product lifestyle, drive sales, and ensure consistent and timely delivery of project estimates and documents post-sale.

- Assists in the completion of Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal by providing detailed product feature/function information.

Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Polished, confident communication and presentation Able to communicate highly technical concepts and translate into simple business value
- Possess and maintain expert level medical laboratory experience to include:
- the uses and functionality of Data Innovations' products
- in-depth knowledge of IVD analyzers
- LIS and EMR application requirements
- technical specifications related to middleware interfaces
- the laboratory industry in North America (with potential expansion to worldwide region)
- The roles of the laboratory information system(s), analytical and automation instrumentation and how they interoperate
- Working knowledge of Server, PC and network hardware
- Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to create solutions to problems identified while consulting with customers
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Satisfy travel requirements (Minimum 50% of travel required)
- Must comply with and pass initial background check and drug screening, as well as subsequent background checks, drug screenings and vaccine requirements as required by customer contracts.

Education and/or Experience - Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years relevant working experience in sales engineering or implementation of IVD analyzers

- Associates Degree and at least 4 years relevant working experience in sales engineering or implementation of IVD analyzers

- At least 7 years relevant working experience in sales engineering or implementation of IVD analyzers
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary light office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use. This position has high travel requirements to customer sites; must be able to tolerate conditions associated with traveling and working in a laboratory setting.
Preferred skills and experience: In addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:
- Previous Sales/Consulting Experience
- Experience in providing customer demonstrations of products
- Completion of an Accredited Program in Medical Laboratory Technology and experience working as a Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Prior use of Data Innovations' Products
Supervision Level: This person reports directly to the Director, Commercial Operations.
