      Job Overview:

      As a Sales Engineer, you will be the product expert on the sales team and a key point of contact for our clients, combining your technical expertise with exceptional customer relationship skills. You will work closely with our sales representatives and prospective clients to understand their unique challenges, demonstrate the value of our software platform, and ensure they are equipped with best practices for using our software effectively. Your role will be crucial in building trust and ensuring client success from the first interaction.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Product Expertise:
      • Develop an in-depth understanding of our facility management software and its capabilities.
      • Stay up-to-date with the latest product updates and industry trends.
      • Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation and demo environments.

      Customer Engagement:
      • Engage with clients to understand their unique challenges and requirements.
      • Conduct detailed needs assessments and tailor demonstrations to address specific client pain points.
      • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor throughout the sales process.

      Demo Excellence:
      • Design and deliver compelling and customized software demonstrations that showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions.
      • Develop and refine best practices for demoing the software, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for all prospects.
      • Train the sales team on effective demo techniques and product knowledge.

      Sales Support:
      • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential leads.
      • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals and technical documentation.
      • Address technical inquiries and provide solutions to client challenges during the sales process.

      Feedback and Improvement:
      • Gather and relay client feedback to the product development team to inform future enhancements.
      • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools.

      Qualifications:
      • 2+ years of proven experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar technical sales role.
      • As the company's founding Sales Engineer, ability to build our Sales Engineering strategy, materials, demo environments as needed.
      • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
      • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
      • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
      • Experience in the facility management, restaurant software or similar industry is highly preferred.

      Salary: Base pay is $120,000 - $140,000 annually with an OTE of $150,000 - $170,000 with commissions.
