What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive incremental revenue through large, complex sales opportunities that maximize the employer's capabilities
- Identify client business issues and architect information availability solutions utilizing all of the employer's products and services
- Deliver and manage proof of values (PoVs) and Use Case Demos (UCDs) on customer sites
- Act as the technical point of contact for the employer's partner channel and represent the employer at marketing events
- Manage internal resources through cross-functional communication to support sales initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical sales role with a focus on Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security
- Strong knowledge of one of the three major cloud provider environments related to roles/permissions/API (AWS and/or Azure preferred)
- Fundamental network and database experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solution Architect, or Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Experience with SFDC and opportunity tracking
- Strong understanding of data storage types, encryption techniques, and cloud IAM
- Knowledge of ML/AI, Data Regulatory Frameworks, and Privacy and Data Retention programs
- Results-oriented mindset and creative problem-solving abilities
