      About the role

      If you have deep relationships in the publishing world and thrive on introducing transformative technologies, we want to hear from you. We're looking for a Strategic Sales Executive to lead the growth of our AI-powered audiobook production division-a rare chance to shape an emerging market and redefine how audiobooks are produced. The ideal candidate is someone with a "hunter" mentality who thrives on being on the front lines, prospecting, consultative selling, closing deals, and winning! The perfect candidate will achieve success through solution-selling capabilities and direct, face-to-face contact with the customer.

      What you'll do

      • Champion the adoption of AI audiobook technology among major publishers
      • Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota objectives.
      • Leverage and nurture relationships with key industry stakeholders
      • Develop go-to-market strategies for direct sales and reseller channels
      • Accelerate our entry into a $1.6B+ audiobook market
      • Influence product development with real-time feedback from publisher contacts
      • Target and close deals with houses producing 200+ titles annually

      • Deep understanding of audiobook production economics and publisher challenges
      • Experience selling breakthrough solutions to traditional publishers or self-published authors
      • Proven ability to manage strategic accounts and close six-figure deals
      • Track record of surpassing goals in complex, long-cycle B2B sales
      • Ability to establish trust and rapport with C-level executives in publishing
      • Must have strong skills in the following: communication, presentation skills, negotiation, organization, and attention to detail.
      • Creative self-starter: ability to work independently.

      • Deep understanding of audiobook production economics and publisher pain points
      • Experience selling innovative solutions to book publishers or self-published authors
      • Strategic account management skills with proven ability to close six-figure deals
      • Track record of exceeding targets in complex, long-cycle B2B sales
      • Natural ability to build trust with C-level publishing executives

      Qualifications

      • 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in publishing, media, or technology
      • Demonstrated success in market development or new product introduction
      • Strong grasp of audiobook industry trends and publisher economics
      • Experience with both traditional publishers and self-publishing platforms
      • History of building and maintaining long-term strategic partnerships.
