      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assist in defining and executing strategies for business development
      - Identify, qualify, and contact prospective clients to generate new business
      - Sell appropriate products and services based on prospective clients' interests and needs
      - Develop and oversee execution of annual strategic plans with clients' managers
      - Provide day-to-day service support to clients' administrative staff and ensure product needs are met

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 3 years of successful consultative sales experience in group benefits, preferably with a major consulting/brokerage firm or insurance carrier
      - Understanding of the California managed care market, with knowledge of group underwriting or provider contracting principles a plus
      - Excellent communication skills and ability to develop credibility and trust with customers
      - Strong organizational skills and a good sense of prioritization
      - Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
