      We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Leader to join a growing SaaS business in Valsoft's portfolio. This role is responsible for driving full-cycle sales-from outbound lead generation to engaging senior IT leaders, and ultimately closing high-value deals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in software sales, experience selling into higher education, government, and healthcare sectors, and a strong network in global English-speaking markets beyond North America (e.g., UK, Australia, New Zealand). They should be comfortable negotiating and closing individual contracts of $100K+ in ARR.

      Core Duties:
      • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan within the first 90 days, outlining key targets and approach to market expansion.
      • Proactively identify and engage potential clients through outbound prospecting, leveraging existing relationships and new opportunities.
      • Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of opportunities, effectively moving prospects through the sales cycle. \
      • Engage with senior IT executives to present our SaaS solutions, clearly articulating the value proposition and competitive differentiators.
      • Lead complex sales cycles, balancing smaller, fast-moving opportunities with longer, high-value deals.
      • Effectively negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, ensuring favorable outcomes for both clients and the business.
      • Utilize CRM tools to track pipeline development, sales forecasts, and account activity.
      • Provide regular reporting and insights on market trends, customer needs, and sales performance.
      • Collaborate with product teams to refine go-to-market strategies and enhance customer engagement.
      • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence and drive new business.


      Qualifications:
      • Minimum 7+ years of successful software sales experience, with a strong preference for SaaS solutions.
      • Proven experience selling into higher education, government, and healthcare sectors.
      • Established relationships and deep understanding of the sales process in global English-speaking markets (North America, UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).
      • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales quotas and drive revenue growth.
      • Strong expertise in outbound lead generation, pipeline development, and consultative selling.
      • Experience managing and closing complex, high-value deals ($100K+ ARR per contract).
      • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
      • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and adept at working both independently and collaboratively.
      • Ability to travel 25%-30% of time.
      • Based in Canada or the United States
