- Developing and executing a territory-specific strategic business plan to drive results that exceed targets.
- Building relationships with senior level decision makers within the assigned region.
- Developing and maintaining a prospect pipeline; meeting with prospects/consultants to build strategic relationships to execute on new business growth.
- Selling the value of CVS Health/Aetna, while utilizing analytical tools, resources, demos to differentiate CVS Health/Aetna in the market.
- Create client-specific strategies and lead finalist preparation and presentations to prospective clientele.
- Collaborating with internal departments to develop innovative solutions that provide a competitive advantage and positively positions CVS Health solutions in the marketplace.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- 3+ years of PBM sales or account management experience, or 5 years of New Business Development experience in the Healthcare Industry.
- 3+ years of experience in new business development in the PBM industry.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience may be considered.

Requisition Job DescriptionAs a Strategic Sales Executive (SSE), you will serve as the business development lead for CVS Health’s Integrated Prescription Benefit Management offering within the assigned region and within CVS Health’s Integrated Business Unit. As a seasoned healthcare sales professional, you will utilize your years of expertise to grow our business and directly selling to prospective employers, labor funds, and government entities; in addition to, developing relationships with key healthcare benefit and pharmacy consultants. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with Executive Leadership both internally and externally.
You will accomplish this through:
Your success as a Strategic Sales Executive will be driven by your ability to gain new business wins in your market and region. Your understanding of the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) and the managed care environment as well as keeping up to date on market trends will enable you to position CVS Health programs and solutions effectively to client decision makers. The contributions you will make as a Strategic Sales Executive will position CVS Health/Aetna for long term growth in the competitive integrated PBM marketplace.
The ideal candidate will live in the Northeastern part of the country. You must have ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$68,000.00 - $174,134.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
