What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the employer's footprint in clinical labs and digital healthcare solutions
- Drive new business acquisition and exceed revenue targets by securing enterprise-level partnerships with national commercial clinical labs
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clinical lab executives and technology vendors
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and position tailored solutions for clients in lab workflow optimization and compliance readiness
- Mentor and develop a high-performing business development team
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 8+ years of leadership experience in clinical laboratories or sales leadership experience with national commercial clinical laboratories
- Strong understanding of lab workflows, including IT system integration and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional consultative selling skills and proven relationship management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred
- Familiarity with LIMS, lab robotics, and compliance frameworks like CLIA and FDA regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Established network of relationships across national commercial clinical laboratories
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives such as Portal Solutions and LIMS implementations
- Strong negotiation skills, particularly with national lab stakeholders
- Technical proficiency and comfort with communication tools like Slack
