Acendas Travel is looking for travel management company (TMC) experienced Business Development Managers to join our team. Put your experience working with corporate travel company pipelines to use finding new clients to be part of the Acendas Travel network. Previous experience selling within a TMC environment is highly desired for this role.

Job Summary The Manager of Corporate Sales will manage the corporate travel sales process from start to finish. As a business development manager, this individual will proactively identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships to achieve sales targets. This position is responsible for obtaining new profitable corporate travel management accounts. The Sales Manager will provide personalized service to potential clients resulting from a collaborative process with prospects as well as internal and external partners over a multi-month sales cycle.
Scope - Sales of Corporate Travel Management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Develop new business relationships, generate, and negotiate new income to an annual target.
- Conduct discovery sessions to align solutions.
- Actively and successfully manage the full sales process.
- Work alongside other internal teams to implement new business.
- Keep up to date on industry information, attend industry networking events, and keep abreast of current industry events.
- Manage and maintain your sales pipeline.
- Deliver results against set sales targets.
- Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Transferable Skills - Prior experience in a remote sales position at a corporate level.
- Comfortable working in a business development role that has a partial performance-based compensation plan.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain rapport with all levels of management, modify communication style for customers, and manage ongoing client relationships.
- Adept at setting priorities, establishing goals and plans, and managing workload.
- Excellent communication skills: Oral, written, and presentation skills in English.
- Self-motivated, use initiative and take a proactive approach.
- Proven ability to work as a team player.
- Professional manner and appearance.
- Thrive on no two days being the same.
Qualifications - Extensive experience in the business travel industry required. Must have a successful networking history.
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce or similar CRMs preferred.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office.
- Some travel is required.
Salary Description
Range of $81,000 - $85,000
