What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement account plans and strategies for current and potential clients in the renewable energy sector
- Build and maintain relationships with purchase influencers within client organizations
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients and at conferences
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support sales initiatives
- Track and report on sales activity, market trends, and client relationship issues
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent via education and/or work experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a client-facing technical sales position
- At least 2 years’ sales experience selling photovoltaic inverters in the utility-scale segment of the solar industry
- Proven track record of achieving annual orders budget and successful client relationships
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and availability to travel domestically approximately 50%
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Existing relationships with decision-makers at utilities, independent power producers, and/or EPCs
- Experience in sales activities related to multi-million-dollar projects or systems
- Familiarity with contract development and negotiations
- Proficiency with a CRM tool
