      ABOUT THIS JOB

      We are seeking motivated, high-energy, and dynamic sales professionals with management skills and aspirations to up-level our business development engine. In this role, you will start as a player-coach tasked with achieving your own results while managing a growing team of BDRs to build interest in our confidential AI platform for a portfolio of High Tech and Financial Services organizations across North America. You will play a critical part in driving revenue by leading from the front: hitting personal goals, developing a high-performing team, and laying the foundation for a scalable business development function. The role is designed to evolve into a full-time leadership position as you demonstrate your ability to meet / exceed early targets and make the case to scale your team!

      Key Responsibilities

      • Sales management: Coach and develop sales team members to improve sales skills and performance (as measured by qualified opportunity generation)
      • Process building: Create and refine sales playbooks, scripts, and email templates
      • Lead qualification: Work alongside your sales team to achieve a quarterly quota of qualified opportunities through a mix of sources (inbound, outbound, and partner-referred)
      • Prospecting: Proactively target prospects at companies in a systematic process with a multi-channel and creative outbound prospecting approach (e.g. social selling, video, personalized emails, and phone calls)
      • Activity monitoring and tracking: Utilize provided technology stack (Hubspot) to plan and document all activities + monitor team activities


      Qualifications

      • 3-5 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or sales role with at least 1-2 years as a team lead or manager in a B2B SaaS organization (Data & AI industry experience is a plus)
      • Consistent, measurable over-achievement in past professional experiences
      • Systems thinker with the ability to understand and navigate the interconnectedness of various parts of the business; including recognizing patterns, identifying dependencies, and strategically analyzing how decisions and actions impact the larger sales system
      • Structured problem solver and process engineer with experience building, measuring, and refining parts a personal or team sales process
      • Intelligent, motivated, and competitive with a lead-by-example approach
      • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (outgoing and personable)
      • Ability to adapt and adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment
      • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
      • Ability to understand technical concepts and a genuine enthusiasm for technology


      The pay range for this role is:

      95,000 - 135,000 USD per year (Remote - United States)
