What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the team to meet annual sales targets across product lines
- Create and manage demand within assigned territories
- Focus 75% of time on expanding product mix with existing customers and 25% on new prospects
- Build and maintain relationships with aftermarket-focused contract hardware distributors and low voltage system integrators
- Influence construction standards manuals to enhance business opportunities for the employer's products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior sales experience
- Willingness to travel locally over 50% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce
- Knowledge of door hardware product lines
- Experience in electronic sales
