      Role Description:

      The Online Sales Representative (Phone & Chat) will increase the quality and quantity of qualified leads for the sales center via phone and chat resulting in stronger pipelines and increased revenue. They will curate prospects, build rapport and trust with customers that lead to higher sales opportunities. The role's primary focus is assisting inbound phone and/or chat customers and making outbound attempts with the primary focus of closing revenue generating sales opportunities. The position reports directly to the Sales Manager.

      What You'll Do:

      Key Responsibilities:
      • Convert inbound calls/chats/email to closed revenue.
      • Prioritize leads/quotes funnel with CRM/account management software.
      • Perform outbound calling to customer prospects to close all quotes and drive recognition of revenue as directed by management.
      • Build rapport with prospective customers utilizing communication skills.
      • Educate customers on the value and necessity of products.
      • Ask qualifying questions to suggest products that best fit the customer's needs.
      • Assist customers during sales process to ensure completion of sales cycle.
      • Bring strong closing skills to the role, knowing when to turn off empathy and ask for the sale.
      • Demonstrate assertiveness and professionalism in all communications.
      • Ability to cultivate both internal and external relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
      • Work with team members to manage and create excellent customer experiences.
      • Receptive to constructive criticism and coaching.
      • Attend all mandatory product and policy training as directed by management.
      • Execute all company policies and procedures with the utmost professionalism.
      • Must be ready to work when scheduled i.e., punctual, on-time, flexible-able to work overtime and weekends depending upon business needs, etc.
      • Achieve daily, weekly, monthly KPIs as set forth by management i.e., sales.
      • Can handle stressful situations such as irate or dissatisfied customers.
      • Can communicate/negotiate in a professional manner with our vendors.

      Education and/or Experience:

      • Successful outbound hunter/inbound closer.
      • Previous Phone Sales experience i.e., inside sales, online retail, inbound sales for warranties, cable/satellite TV, appliances, insurance, hospitality, etc.
      • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office i.e., Word, Excel, etc.)
      • Web browsing
