What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Preplan a daily schedule of sales calls and conduct interviews following established sales training parameters
- Deliver sales materials and promptly service assigned accounts, including campus bookstores
- Actively manage the company CRM tool, ensuring accurate customer information and sales opportunities
- Develop and execute selling techniques to effectively promote Macmillan Learning products
- Provide feedback on market trends and submit required data or reports on a timely basis

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree
- Direct sales experience; publishing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a self-starting environment
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including working more than 40 hours per week when necessary

- Knowledge of and/or an interest in working in an academic environment
- Proficiency with computers and basic applications software
