- Answer inbound queue calls
- Preparing authors to speak with a sales specialist
- Respond to email and chat
- Contribute to the conversion of the maximum number of prospects to clients
- Explain all processes, procedures, and requirements to prospects
- Follow prescribed sales process
- Participate in outbound calling campaigns
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills and attitude at all times
- Meet productivity requirements for calls, emails, and chats processed per day
- Work closely with fellow BookBaby team members to refine and make continuous improvements to product lines, services, author facing assets and overall author experience
- 1-2 years in sales or customer service experience
- Working knowledge of the book publishing or book printing business is a plus, but not required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have good communication, language, and verbal skills
- Ability to conduct effective sales transactions via phone, e-mail, and chat
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high customer contact environment
- Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
- Computer literacy
- Math skills required, will need to make basic math calculations
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Must be able to perform work at a computer and telephone station for 90% of day

Does the idea of helping authors publish their book excite you? DIY Media Group has an immediate opening for a remote, part-time Sales Support Representative with their BookBaby brand. In this role, you'll learn to become a book printing and distribution subject matter expert. The Sales Support Representative assists our inside sales team in converting a high percentage of leads into customers by answering inbound calls, replying to online chat requests, and responding to customer emails.

Schedule
Part-time, Monday through Friday, up to 28 hours per week. The schedule is flexible but ideally, the best candidate would be able to work: Monday - Wednesday, 11AM - 5PM (ET) and Thursday - Friday, 12PM - 5PM (ET).
