What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and provide crisis counseling services from a distraction-free private office space
- Speak with consumers over the phone and connect with individuals experiencing emotional distress or mental health issues
- Build rapport and engage clients to assess risk and manage documentation during calls
- Provide available resources and information to support clients
- Identify safe coping mechanisms and develop safety plans, including emergency intervention when necessary

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate degree in a behavioral health field such as MSW, PsyD, or PhD, or a master's degree with a clinical practice emphasis
- Licensed as a limited or fully licensed social worker or counselor according to state licensing board requirements
- Reside in Kansas and hold a valid license as an LPC, LMSW, LCPC, or LSCSW
- Ability to work remotely from a private office space
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills

- Experience in crisis intervention or counseling services
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and regulations
- Knowledge of available behavioral healthcare resources
