      About the Role

      The Sample Coordinator will be the sample expert and key point of contact for all advertising samples for the Gap marketing and online team. This role will report into the Sample Manager while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure all samples and requests are appropriately tracked, accounted for, and returned in a timely, organized manner.

      What You'll Do

      • Support team deliverables with timely sample ordering, receiving, tracking, organizing, and maintenance. Responsible for samples used for marketing shoots and product page photography.

      • Understand and communicate any specific sample variances that might impact photography.

      • Work with manager and cross-functional teams to identify any missing samples that need to be borrowed leading up to photoshoots. Return borrowed samples on time. If samples are unavailable, help to troubleshoot for alternative solutions.

      • Place orders with distribution centers as needed for missing samples and one-off requests.

      • Collect and send all samples to photo studio for product page photography shots.

      • Keep sample closets organized. Manage the donation/disposal of samples at the end of a season to make room for the next season’s samples.

      Who You Are

      • Highly detail oriented with strong time management and organization skills.

      • Sense of urgency with ability to prioritize and adapt quickly to change.

      • Ability to work independently in a team environment while building cross-functional partnerships.

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Experienced in MS Office (Excel, Word)

      • Must be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 50lbs

      • College education preferred with 2+ years in retail, merchandising, or styling role.
