The Sample Coordinator will be responsible for processing and tracking all product samples as they move through Production Department to be organized and submitted to various departments across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Track all samples by locating any missing expected samples
• Perform administrative task as direct such as filing, organizing, unpacking boxes, etc.
• Pack and organize samples to submit to and pick up from the appropriate departments
• Steam and prepare all samples for photo-shoots
• Pick up, unpack and organize samples for production team
• Organize TOP samples to be submitted to QC dept for QC inspection
• Monthly (3 wks from IHD): organize and submit 1 set of TOPs to ECOM for Web Product Shoots, and 1 set of TOPs to Visual for Floorset
• Monthly (6 wks from IHD): organize WEB ex samples and submit for Web Content Shoot
• Seasonally (3.5 months from IHD): organize and submit samples for seasonal marketing shoot
• Creating and managing ongoing sample log

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred
• Must have general computer knowledge; Experience with Microsoft Office suite preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a retail environment and basic understanding of retail workflow preferred
• Prior experience using a fabric steamer or similar device preferred
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able and willing to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., perform frequent repetitive finger, hand and wrist motions, as well as bending, stooping, reaching, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling

ADDITIONAL DATA

The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to position offered and work experience.In addition to your salary, Forever 21, and its affiliated brands, offers a benefits package, including 401(k) plan, overtime pay, flexible work schedule and a generous employee discount program (all benefits are based on eligibility).
