      SBA Closer - Senior

      Are you an experienced SBA professional with a knack for managing complex loan processes? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

      United Community is seeking a highly skilled SBA Closer - Senior. As a SBA Closer – Senior, you'll be responsible for processing, documenting, and closing SBA 7a, SBA 504, and USDA loans in accordance with all Bank and SBA regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive SBA experience with supervisory responsibilities and industry vertical experience.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Independently manage a large loan pipeline from origination through closing in accordance with SBA SOP, as well as Bank policies and procedures.
      • Ensure all required loan conditions (insurance, collateral, formation, equity, etc.) are met and properly documented in compliance with SBA and Bank policies.
      • Communicate with borrowers regarding loan documentation needs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
      • Coordinate with Underwriters for any loan modifications during the closing process.
      • Collaborate with underwriting, bank attorneys, third-party vendors, and borrowers to prepare closing conditions and items needed to schedule/close the loan.
      • Maintain excellent communication skills between all points of contact, managing closing expectations and productivity of all parties.
      • Ensure deadlines are met and adhere to all SBA SOPs, Bank regulations, as well as State and Federal requirements.
      • Resolve all pre and post-closing document issues in a timely manner.


      Requirements for Success:

      • 4-year degree or equivalent work experience required.
      • Previous supervisory experience required.
      • Ten or more years of SBA loan origination experience.
      • In-depth knowledge and understanding of SBA loan closing requirements with comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations.
      • Ability to coordinate diverse tasks simultaneously within stringent time frames.
      • Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite applications.
      • Excellent understanding of title reports, lien searches, lease documentation, equity injection, and acquisition documentation.
