What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and review all closing documents for SBA loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies and SBA regulations
- Serve as the central point of contact, effectively communicating with borrowers, lenders, loan officers, and attorneys throughout the closing process
- Verify borrower information and ensure proper filing and security of bank liens on collateral according to SBA guidelines
- Oversee the entire SBA loan closing process, ensuring all requirements are met for a smooth and timely closing
- Maintain knowledge of various SBA loan programs and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, or 5-10 years of SBA closing experience
- Prior experience with loan closings, preferably in a commercial lending environment
- In-depth knowledge of SBA loan programs and closing requirements, including federal and state regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software (e.g., NCino, AFSVision)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous audit or compliance experience
- Strong commitment to member service and community involvement
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with training and leading compliance sessions
- Familiarity with title reports, lien searches, and other documentation related to SBA loans
