What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct comprehensive patient interviews to obtain and verify accurate patient information
- Schedule outpatient appointments and ensure all necessary information is communicated to patients
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, obtaining authorizations and referrals as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phones and interacting positively with patients and staff

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of previous registration and/or insurance verification experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in scheduling and documentation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to adapt to changes in assignments and accept constructive feedback

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a healthcare environment
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and scheduling software
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding for insurance authorizations
