What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Enter and maintain campus schedules in the student information system
- Balance class times to conform to the curriculum
- Audit and maintain the schedule based on adjustments requested by campus leadership
- Publish preliminary and final schedules for review and approval
- Update calendars for room reservations and room grids
- Modify schedule as needed for cancellations and changes
- Maintain workload information for adjunct contracts and overview of workload tied to the schedule
- Stay current with curricular changes and system-specific rules and procedures
- Assist with new faculty setup and access to classes
- Maintain knowledge of student information system and related systems
- Perform other assigned duties
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required, associate's degree in a business-related field preferred
- Three (3) years' experience in a college or academic setting preferred
- Knowledge or willingness to learn current systems, specifically Colleague
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Detail-oriented and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to operate a personal computer and other office equipment
