      The Scheduling Manager is a dynamic problem-solver who is proactive, highly organized, an effective communicator, and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position will serve as a key liaison between office staff, clients, and caregivers. The primary responsibility of the Scheduling Manager is to develop and communicate caregiver schedules to meet the ongoing needs of our clients. The Scheduling Manager also supports the supervision of caregivers to maintain the “gold standard” of home care in northwest Indiana that Right at Home has come to represent. This position also entails supervising caregivers by conducting performance reviews, enforcing company policy, and conflict resolution. This role may also be required to conduct caregiver introductions, training, client satisfaction reviews and assessments in the homes of our clients.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Develop, coordinate, manage, and maintain all client/caregiver schedules using ClearCare scheduling software.
      • Consult with management to ensure schedules are appropriate to meet client needs.
      • Review caregiver skill set, availability, preferences, and geographic information to appropriately match caregivers with existing and new clients.
      • Adjust schedules as needed when changes in clients’ conditions warrant increases or decreases in service or changes to regular schedules. Document all changes as needed.
      • Triage phone calls, communicating with office staff and caregiving staff to ensure client needs are met.
      • Notify management of quality assurance issues promptly.
      • Conduct caregiver performance reviews uphold company policy, and conflict resolution.
      • Must be available to work on-call hours and some weekends.
      • Other duties as assigned.
      SKILLS AND ABILITIES

      • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
      • Must be a team player with the ability to work independently.
      • Highly organized, able to prioritize and change direction as needed.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with clients, caregivers and office staff.
      • Strong computer skills and comfortable with technology
      • Critical thinker with the ability to use good judgement and make good decisions.
      • Great energy, empathy, and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
      REQUIREMENTS

      • Preference will be given to those with 2+ years prior home care/home health scheduling experience
      • Experience with scheduling and/or care coordination, preferably as a scheduler, staffing coordinator or care manager in home care or home health
      • Must have a smartphone and be proficient with software required to complete and manage tasks
      • Valid driver's license, current auto insurance and reliable transportation
      • An ability to travel within NW Indiana (Lake, Porter and LaPorte County)
      • Annual TB testing, background check, drug/alcohol screening will be required.
      • High school diploma required
