Establish, maintain and enhance the school counseling program to address academic achievement, career planning and social/emotional development using the ASCA School Counselor Professional Standards & Competencies. Organize and manage state and national programs in each school to include, but not limited to, the Terrific Kids program (quarterly) and Red Ribbon week. Provide direct and indirect services to students to include, but not limited to, class guidance lessons, individual solution-focused/skill-based counseling sessions, IGP development, and immediate response to crisis situations.Must have a Master’s Degree and Licensure by the SC Department of Education in Guidance-Elementary or Secondary or Associate Guidance – Secondary or Secondary Advance; and two (2) years’ experience teaching or counseling. Must have knowledge of the communication and cultural issues related to serving sensory impaired individuals.If selected for an interview you must provide verification of your highest level of education (i.e., copy of BA Degree, high school diploma, college transcripts) and if applicable, licensure and/or certification (i.e., nursing licensure, teacher licensure, bus driving certification).About the company
