      The Scientist position will offer a wide range of activities including performing analytical chemistry research and/or development in collaboration with others to develop assays based on new and existing methodologies, assisting in developing and validating testing methodology used to control raw materials, production intermediates, and final products and establishing validation and documentation of new or existing methods.

      • You will provide scientific expertise to support product/process research and development or lifecycle management (including design, development, analysis, troubleshooting, etc.)

      • You will contribute to experimental design, research, and analysis of various chemistries and new technologies required to determine applicability to product development or support efforts.

      • You will conduct work in compliance with cGMP/GLP, safety and regulatory requirements.

      • You may provide analysis and evaluation of material and products at all stages of the development process; you will write documentation for technical reporting

      • You may participate in standalone projects and/or perform in collaboration with others; you will have duties that are varied and complex, often involving research, analysis and solution development.

      • You will perform qualitative/quantitative testing and analysis on materials and processes; you will prepare specifications and/or protocols to ensure consistency, quality and or optimal performance

      • You will apply scientific principles in conducting and analyzing experimental data; you will solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexityr

      This position is based on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana.

      Who You Are:

      (Required)

      • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 2 years of relevant experience; advanced degree may substitute for previous experience

      • You have demonstrated experience applying scientific principles in a broad range of technical assignments.

      • You have demonstrated analytical experience; you have the ability to make independent decisions based on sound scientific reasoning and analysis

      Preferred:

      • You have Analytical Chemistry experience

      • You have the demonstrated ability to interpret data and draw sound conclusions; you have the demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multi-tasks

      • You have strong interpersonal skills: Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and influencing skills: has built and cultivated important relationships both inside an organization and externally; has proven abilities to influence internal partners and stakeholders, thought leaders, national advocacy organizations, national standard-setting bodies, and other relevant external parties; you are able to seamlessly collaborate with colleagues/other parts of an organization

      This position is based on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana.

      The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $72,300 - $134,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
