Job Description We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate daily scrum meetings, coach team members, and identify outstanding project needs. This position will be

remote. What You'll Do - Daily Scrum Meetings
- Sprint Planning Meetings
- Sprint Review Meetings
- Sprint Retrospective Meetings
- Maintain Team Dynamics
- Coach team members (e.g., with one-on-one coaching)
- Mediate through impediments & conflicts
- Identify outstanding project and product decisions impacting team delivery
- Foster the assigned team's self-organization
- Support Team, Project and Organization goals with project leaders and product
- owner(s)
- Provide feedback to the team
- Encourage the use of Agile Practices within the development teams
- Help teams and vendors with the release planning
- Be familiar with the team (i.e., the product)
- Bring people together who should meet and support each other
- Keep in touch with every stakeholder regularly
- Help the team report to management
- Help to further the Agile community within the organization
- Be a contact person for everyone on the team and their stakeholders regarding Agile
- Provide learning opportunities to people in the organization (e.g., talks or
- workshops) and letting them learn important Agile concepts (e.g., technical debt)
- Facilitate change
What You'll Need Required:
- Five (5) years minimum experience working in the Scrum Master role
Desired:
- Familiarity with JIRA
- Agile development (Scrum Methodology)
Physical Demands - Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
