      JOB SUMMARY

      As the Scrum Master at GoHealth Urgent Care, you will be instrumental in overseeing the agile development using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) process to deliver seamless web-based applications, enriching the experiences of patients, providers, and staff. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with diverse teams, including marketing, physicians, operations leadership, and IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your key responsibilities include leading and facilitating agile ceremonies while ensuring the team's adherence to SAFe principles throughout the Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You will provide ongoing support from requirements gathering to production support. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in anticipating and addressing complexities before releases and deployments.       JOB REQUIREMENTS

      Education
      • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required (or equivalent experience)
      Work Experience
      • 6+ years’ experience leading SAFe Agile teams and/or transformations as a seasoned Scrum Master
      • Applied SAFe framework principles and practices to orchestrate the successful delivery of large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
      • Demonstrated expertise in SAFe Agile methodologies, including Agile Release Trains (ARTs), PI (Program Increment) Planning, and fostering collaboration and efficiency across cross-functional teams.
      • Facilitated agile ceremonies and guided Agile teams, emphasizing the SAFe principles of systems thinking to achieve optimal results.
      • Collaborated closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), developers, and stakeholders to define program backlogs, prioritize features, and ensure the overall success of program increments.
      • Utilized strong communication skills to foster transparency and alignment within the Agile teams and with external stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and priorities.
      • Proven track record of implementing and adapting SAFe Agile practices to meet the unique needs of development projects, resulting in on-time and high-quality deliveries.
      • Championed continuous improvement by conducting retrospectives and implementing feedback loops, contributing to the evolution of Agile practices within the organization.
      • Owned and facilitated PI Planning events, ensuring a structured and collaborative approach to align teams and stakeholders on priorities and delivery timelines within the SAFe framework.

      Required Licenses/Certifications

      • SAFe scrum master or release train engineer certification
      • Project management certification (PMP) (nice to have)

      Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

      • Proficient in SAFe Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience managing and facilitating Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Program Increments (PIs).
      • Ability to identify and solve project issues quickly and effectively.
      • Strong understanding of Lean and Agile principles, with the ability to guide teams in adopting and adapting these practices to achieve optimal results.
      • Excellent facilitation skills for agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.\
      • Effective communication skills to facilitate transparency, alignment, and shared understanding within Agile teams and with stakeholders.
      • Focused on delivering business value by leveraging techniques like epics, stories, and the product backlog for managing scope, continuous delivery or integration for setting the pace of delivery, and product teams for managing resources agile to increase time-to-market, innovative capacities, and end-user satisfaction.
      • Proven experience collaborating with Product Owners and developers to ensure delivery of successful program increments.
      • Serve as a conflict navigator and problem-solver. Support team members in resolving project conflicts and decision-making. Help teams move from conflict to constructive disagreement as a catapult to high performance.
      • Strengthen the team’s ability to navigate risk and ambiguity in today’s world instead of focusing on trying to remove risk in favor of certainty.
      • Experience with agile project management tools and software for enhanced collaboration and workflow management.

      Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred

      • Experience working on healthcare-specific software and familiarity with healthcare business practices and regulations such as HIPAA.
      • SAFe Agile certification, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and practitioner mastery of SAFe principles.
      • Experience in leading and coaching Agile teams through organizational change and transformation.
      • Familiarity with DevOps practices and their integration within the SAFe framework.
      • Ability to analyze and optimize Agile processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
      • Knowledge of complementary Agile methodologies and frameworks beyond SAFe, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.
      • Strong problem-solving skills, anticipating and addressing complexities in Agile processes to ensure project stability and success.
      • Expertise with healthcare business processes within physician practices and associated application software necessary to support those processes within an integrated delivery system.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      • Lead and facilitate SAFe Agile practices, focusing on Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Program Increments (PIs), and Lean and Agile principles, ensuring the successful delivery of large-scale projects.
      • Develop, review, and modify Agile project timelines and plans and track timelines and deliverables accurately.
      • Identify and address impediments and blockers, escalating when necessary.
      • Manage and strengthen the team’s ability to navigate risk and ambiguity instead of focusing on trying to remove risk in favor of certainty.
      • Conduct and facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, fostering collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within cross-functional teams.
      • Collaborate closely with Digital Leadership, Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to define program backlogs, prioritize features, and align teams toward shared project goals and objectives.
      • Serve as a conflict navigator and problem-solver. Support team members in resolving project conflicts and decision-making. Help teams move from conflict to constructive disagreement as a catapult to high performance.
      • Remove obstacles, facilitate team communication, mediate discussions within the team, and negotiate with those external to the team.
      • Utilize Agile tools such as Jira to track team progress, productivity, and individual performance.
      • Measure and report on team performance and progress, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
      • Employ effective communication skills to ensure transparency and alignment within Agile teams and with external stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of project priorities and delivery timelines.
      • Lead and coach Agile teams through organizational change and transformation, ensuring the successful adoption and adaptation of SAFe Agile methodologies.
      • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing and optimizing Agile processes, promoting efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.
      • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, anticipating and addressing complexities in Agile processes to ensure project stability and success.
      • Utilize agile project management tools and software for enhanced collaboration and workflow management within Agile teams such as Jira, ClickUp, and Confluence.
      • Track and report on key Agile metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.
      • Share knowledge and expertise in complementary Agile methodologies and frameworks beyond SAFe, fostering a well-rounded understanding of Agile practices within the organization.
