What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist physics students in acquiring technical skills through demonstration and supervision
- Enforce safety rules during experiments to ensure a safe lab environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the physics lab
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying and assisting with exam proctoring
- Support the Lab Manager in preparing solutions, running samples, and testing instrumentation

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in a science major
- Six to twelve months of work-related experience required
- Basic working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in laboratory settings
- Ability to assist with basic computer programs for graphing, such as Excel and Graphical Analysis

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a laboratory or educational setting
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as Spec 20 and FT-IR
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Interest in physics or related scientific fields
