      The Role

      Four Seasons Hotel Boston is looking for a Seamstress who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. Our Seamstress assures that the look and fit of employee uniforms, and guest clothing meet exacting standards, and repairs textiles throughout the hotel as needed. This position reports to Director of Housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read, write, and speak English. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

      • Must have the ability to exchange and issue uniforms to employees

      • Inspect dirty uniforms for needed repairs/alterations

      • Hang clean uniform in the department area designated number slot that corresponds to the uniform number

      • Must have through knowledge and skills in sewing

      • Fit and measure all new employees for uniforms

      • Maintain all uniform repairs and alterations on a daily basis

      • Must have the ability to effectively and politely communicate with employees and guests

      • Must be flexible to all other projects assigned by management

      • Must be able to perform light pressing of guest and employee items
