Seasonal Warehouse Ice Cream Picker

Job Description

- Pick orders accurately and efficiently according to picking lists and scanners.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Follows direction to accurately load trucks with ice cream and supplies for delivery.
- Assist in the double checking of orders during loading of company trucks.
- Restock inventory areas as needed to maintain adequate levels of stock.
- Work in the warehouse and storage freezer daily.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and freezer areas.
- Must be able to work in small teams to pick orders and load delivery vehicles efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to communicate product outages and maintain
- inventory accuracy.
- Learn and comply with guidelines while using picking and inventory technology.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself
- and your colleagues.
- Assist in other areas/departments of the plant as needed.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
- Starting pay $19/hour
- Daily overtime pay for any time over 8 hours

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Punctual, predictable, and reliable attendance
- Cooperative and able to take direction
- Must be customer service driven
- Good teamwork skills
- Valid driver license preferred
- Must be able to constantly position self to effectively load all delivery vehicle types.
- Must be able to constantly move ice cream or supplies weighing up to 60lbs chest high.
- Must be comfortable working in the heat or cold that a warehouse experiences based on the
- environmental season 100% of shift.
- Must be able to constantly work in a freezer environment.
- Must be able to ascend/descend a staircase to stock products.
- Must be able to move about inside the freezer and warehouse.
- Must be able to detect fire, trip, or other safety hazards.

Job purpose:
Are you ready to scoop up this summer job? We are seeking energetic and motivated individuals looking for a sweet summer gig working at an ice cream manufacturing plant as a Seasonal Warehouse Ice Cream Picker! The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks including picking orders, order fulfillment, loading trucks, restocking, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires flexibility to work in both a warehouse and freezer environment; ice cream and freezer gear provided.
This physical job allows you to exercise at work, while also earning daily overtime, making it a flavorful combination!
